Suki Tea is a Belfast brand that first sold teas in Common Market, selling ethically sourced loose leaf teas. Their branding is very appealing and they tend to go for hand-drawn illustrations, bold use of colour and mix those elements into modern packaging design. The brand focuses on story telling and sustainability led branding.
As part of professional development we were asked to create a tabloid style newspaper publication called “The Tea Press” and we could also have freedom to rename the publication if wanted. This publication can be used as a coffee table book for aesthetic reasons. We had to create four editions a year, which for me indicated Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. It was really fun researching the brand and seeing how far it has come and how sustainable they are. The brief was also fun as I could integrate illustration elements into it. The project is still under construction and is fun so far!
