TAUNT is an award winning independent animation studio in Belfast. When researching the studio it is very collaborative and a creative space. This studio creates work for BBC, Channel 5 and independent media group. My favourite project that they have worked on is “Our Place in Space” by artist Oliver Jeffers. Together with creative led by the Nerve Center, created a 3D trial with interactive AR apps with learning and events for children.
I really enjoy the ideations and development of this project. I love the mixture of 2D/3D elements and the whimsical, fantasy feeling, the animations involved on a still background was created beautifully.
I remember seeing the trail ,myself in Derry in 2022 and the buzz around the event from kids and parents. I believe it is a great involvement involving technology with exercise for families and to open up kids imagination.
