Studio 2 is the leading arts community hub in the greater Shantallow area in Derry. This is a collaborative space, holding art festivals, youth communities. They,”believe the arts are not a luxury. They are a powerful tool for connection, confidence building, learning, and wellbeing.” This community allows the younger generation to express themselves through any form of art and create connections. Following Studio 2 online and hearing stories from young people attending is really inspiring and allows people to work on their wellbeing also. I would consider in working here as a volunteer as I myself, love expressing myself through traditional art and working with young adolescents in a high school I have experience. I would love to shape young people into expressing themselves through their talents. Studio 2 has so much projects to offer such as; creative workshops, community arts projects, developing peoples skills in art, exhibitions, cultural events and cross community programmes. As a community arts hub they partner with artists and creative practitioners.
